A Soccer Star is Born (sorta)

This fall we completed our first year of soccer league and this little lady had a blast. Currently she is in love with soccer. Thinks it's the best thing next to string cheese. She grew so much this fall and it was fun for me as a mom to get to watch her play a team sport, participate without needing me to be right there and set goals to challenge herself each week. I even got to jump in and do her team's pictures which was a fun and unique experience to be able to share.

Like The Big Green her soccer stardom is definitely a work in progress. We aren't scoring goals yet in total beast mode. We're more like setting goals to at least touch the ball a number of times. But hey, we dressed out and showed up and we found something that we all enjoy as a family. The important thing is that she had fun and we did too! We even got to dual celebrate a fun soccer season and Nate's birthday with a Sporting KC game!

So, soccer star?... Maybe not yet, but she for sure has the STAR thing down in my world. Miss Mia keeps us laughing, on our toes, and plays along with my picture taking shenanigans most days. :)
