Wow! What a whirlwind!! I went public and legit as a photography business about three months ago and since then it has been CRAZY!!! CRAZY GOOD! It feels like my dreams are coming true. For the longest time my goals and plans to pursue photography was a cool idea and a hope, but a combination of different people and experiences crossed my path in the past few years that finally pushed to me to pull the trigger and go for it.

I have always been super introverted, a dreamer that lives mostly in my head dreaming up ideas and projects. It takes me awhile to warm up and be the outgoing personality that so much of my life demands. I'm much more comfortable in a one on one situation where I can really connect with people, get to know them, and build relationships.

I have also always been a creative spirit. I love art and my fire light burns when I get to share my love for art with other people. When I started college I started out in graphic design and photography. After coming to the harsh realities of adult life, I basically chickened out of independent entrepreneurship in my early 20's and thought, "Um, I should probably have some security. I'm gonna need things like a house, and a car, and will probably need a paycheck, and health insurance, and some kind of job security. How am I going to be a photographer and start a small business right out of college while also starting a life on my own?"(Props to all you peeps that did it and are doing it. We all have our different journeys and that just wasn't mine at that time). Long story short I found Art Education and pursued and completed my degree to become an art teacher which basically was another dream job that I am so incredibly grateful for. I love people, I love kids, I love teaching, and I love art. SO SO MUCH.

Through this incredible journey to get to this point I have been inspired by many women I have met who have pushed me to push myself. To take risks and chase dreams. To love people and the community I live in. These women were the ones who would tell me, "Oh, you want to do that?...You should do it...Do the dang thing." It has been the most rewarding journey in personal growth and development and I am pumped to keep going and growing. I would be re-missed to forget to give a huge shout out to my husband Nate, who with his laid back, no worries personality, which by the way drives me crazy because I don't get why he doesn't freak out like I do. He has listened to me all these years and always believed that I could do it. He's literally the best at dealing with me, talking me off the cliff when I'm overthinking things, and he challenges me to keep moving forward and don't look back.

And super shout out to all the people who have supported me, loved me, and invested in getting this photog party started! And that's it. WE ARE JUST GETTING STARTED. So buckle up. It's going to be an amazing and beautiful ride. To be continued...
